Write for us

Creative Story House welcomes clear, original pitches about story craft: character, scenes, structure, voice or revision. A useful proposal starts with a specific question and explains what readers will understand by the end.

What fits

We consider explanatory, comparative and historical pieces about how stories are shaped across forms. Strong ideas focus on one craft decision, use examples carefully and leave room for more than one valid approach. We are not looking for generic writing tips, formulaic promises or a disguised advertisement.

What to include

Tell us the working idea, the central question, the intended reader and the main points you would cover. Note any examples or sources you expect to use, and disclose relevant interests or commercial connections. A pitch should show the piece’s distinct angle without needing a full draft.

How to send a proposal

Send pitches and contribution questions through the Contact page, choosing the editorial question option and including your proposal in the message. Please do not send confidential material. A submission is not a guarantee of acceptance or publication.
