Editorial policy
Creative Story House aims to make story craft clear, considered and useful. We distinguish explanation from opinion, avoid presenting flexible techniques as rules, and correct material when a meaningful error is found.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources before publication and explain craft concepts in plain language. Interpretations of stories are identified as readings rather than settled facts. Where an article’s scope is limited, we aim to make that clear rather than imply it covers every form or tradition.
Independence and interests
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to the publication’s subject, not as a promise of favourable coverage. Any material relationship that could reasonably affect how a contribution or placement is understood will be disclosed alongside that material.
Corrections
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, actionable reports and update an article when a correction is warranted; significant changes are identified in the article where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as such where they appear. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence.
